Fireworks on a Canon G9

As I continue to find ways to leave my 5D at home and relax with this lightweight wonder, the Canon G9, I put it to the fireworks test.

I used a clamp-style tripod and hooked up to the railing on the back porch.

The exposure data is: ISO80 5.0sec @ f5.6

No noise at ISO80 made these come out pretty sweet.

A Visit to Glasgow Ranger's Famed Ibrox Stadium and Polock Park

The Glasgow Rangers are a storied franchise having more trophies and championships than any team anywhere. Lewis took us on a visit.

Our Lovely B&B in Edinburgh

We stayed at a small bed & breakfast in Edinburgh called McNeil House. The wall that surrounds the house was built in the 1840's. It surrounded a farm. The house was built in the early 1900's.

This the gate from the road. You can't drive your car to the door.

This is view from our window. In the background you can see the city and the hills across the river.

Both streets and sidewalks are very narrow here.

A typical street sign in Edinburgh.

Yep, this house is built right into the wall.

More Edinburgh-Smiling Faces!

The weather has been absolutely fabulous with not a drop a rain. I think I'll be returning with a sunburn!
