Summer swim in a Scottish village

The Scots don't get many days to swim. Most of the time they splash along the shore. These are picts of the southwest coastline of Scotland and the water is the Irish Sea.

My son Nathan is going to give it a try.

This lasted about 10 minutes.

Scottish Emblems

I know it's been some time since I've posted. Let's just say I let other things take precedent over the joy of doing this blog. My thanks to my friends and family who have encouraged me to go back at it. Again, enjoy!

When in Scotland you'll learn it is a land of emblems. The colors of clothing and attire are very important whether it be of clan tartans or football clubs. Walking down the "Royal Mile" in Edinburgh you'll find many decorative emblems ensconced in walls and towers. Here's a few of them:

A Visit to Glasgow Ranger's Famed Ibrox Stadium and Polock Park

The Glasgow Rangers are a storied franchise having more trophies and championships than any team anywhere. Lewis took us on a visit.

Our Lovely B&B in Edinburgh

We stayed at a small bed & breakfast in Edinburgh called McNeil House. The wall that surrounds the house was built in the 1840's. It surrounded a farm. The house was built in the early 1900's.
